I probably saw more of my Dad when I moved out than when I lived there ..
It went something like this ..
Dad, my fence needs fixing ..
Dad, the lawn is a bit long ..
Lol .. I think Dad enjoyed "getting out of the house" even if it was just to mine to do lawns!

Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months)
I did it .. 41 kgs gone! From flab to fab in under a year LFs weight blog

I have to give the Agent a date tomorrow when I pay the letting fee etc, I have no flippin' idea because at the moment my father is still not happy about it, he's trying to pull out every excuse in the book as to why we can't move at the moment. But no matter when or where I want to move to, he will always be like this ...he is upset about Lucas leaving, he's been there right from the birth to now, he's like his own child and its not like we will be living around the corner iykwim. He's making me start doubting myself but I have to just get on with it and stick to my guns. Mums supportive though, as is Nana and everyone else, it's just Dad thats upset (him & Lucas are very close) *sigh*
Last thing I want to be doing is coming back with my tail in between my legs,

You are probably the apple of his eye as well, I remember the crap when I first moved out of home & I didn't have the added pull of a grandchild. I'm now looking shifting to Oz so I've been getting the same grief from my Mum.
Just keep on your own path & plan it out all yourself & stick to your guns, he'll come around a lot faster than you think. Plan special days or outings where he can take Lucas to make their time more special.
But others are right, I definitely see my parents more since I moved out. At the moment I'd be around there 5 days in a week Normally it's about three!
