The appt went well. Basically it was just meeting the new Paed (since we have moved towns), and filling him in on Isla's history (he kept calling her Iss la,..grrr! Lol!). Hes now going on holiday for a few weeks, so mid feb she will be admitted to hospital for a day to do the dairy trial. Then a few weeks after that he was to trial her on egg too.

Well thats good you got to meet him. I would keep correcting him on the way her name is said (eye-la) it's not that hard.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I just rang the Hutt Hosp and gave the paed a rark (sp?) up and they are going to see Alize within the week!!! They said they will ring with appt. I said If I dont have one by this time next week I will just come in and start something ROFL the nurse has since rang to say she is also setting an appt up with the paed dietician lol. Now why oh why did I have to get vicious just to get some health care......anyone would think I was from a third wirk country.

That sucks that u had to give them a major rark up, but ya for getting an appt this week, and also getting to see the dietician at the same time. I have asked the new and old Pead, and our old and new GP and they have all said we dont need to see a dietician

Aww that sucks are you supose to be managing this on your own. You can self refer to dieticians too to maybe give that a go if you would like to see one. Im sure hey are very valuble

Midcentral wouldnt let me self-refer. If you do that Kellz, just make sure you see a paed dietician cos the general ones arent anywhere near as helpful.

Kels - glad you kicked up a fuss, unfortunately its the only one sometimes...

A quick tip to help make the muffins less dense ...

Sift the gluten free flours 3x ... then while mixing the mixture use an electric beater and beat for 5 mins. This gets more air in and makes them fluffier.
