Yeah, I see advantages to it Jo. I guess them problem I have with it is the power (well... they say there are checks but REALLY) that the President has. Atleast in our system, there is a higher level of accountability (although then nothing ever gets done!) - it seems ya can't win.

Given how few poeple in NZ vote in the one election we hold every 3 years, having to go through preelection voting would be even worse i reckon!
