Right this is a bit of a rant
At work we have 4 car parks which we use asstaff parks there is often two spare. we pay for these parks in our rent or the premises. we share the car park as a whole with 3 other business. One of those businesses is a radio;logy pratice we have constant battles with their clients that seem to think its ok to park where they like all the car parks are well marked. we have over the last few months got some new signs that inform people that our parks are private parks and no parking. do they actually take any notice of this .... No frankly i get sick of playing the evil witch and telling people not to park there what can't you read. There are free 6o minute parks over the road and 30 minute ones around the corner why don't they just use them. i believe that radiology practice should be informing their clients of this and making sure that their clients have parked correctly. the next step for us is clamping. Admittedly the new sugns have helped but the problem hasn't been solved completely. Oh yeah and we were here before the radiology practice. Don't even get me started on how many come into our office for an xray hello didn't you read the sign.
Where I use to work we had stickers that we could put on peoples windows (not windscreen) that were really hard to get off and told them they shouldn't have parked where they did, perhaps you guys could look into those, would be cheaper than the clamping and also there is a degree of satisfaction with sticking them on someone's car
Hmm i like that idea of stickers might have a wee chat dad ( i work for him) about that. Did you have any nasty feedback from people after you did that?
I think i know where you are talking about and im guilty of the same thing although there were only people parked in the radiology parks and one of them was taking up 2 parks so we just took the next empty park. I was just running in to drop off my form and get an appointment so about 2 min max.
that would anoy me too!!! i like the sticker idea too!
I am forever angered by those drongos that park in the disabled parking!!! and then you see them get out and they look perfectly capable, just lazy and ignorant!
That used to happen o me at work all the blimmin time. Once I traweld the shops inthe immediate vacinity 7 months pregnant and bloody angry because soem inconsiderate wench had parked her car behing mine and I couldn't get out, resulting in me being over an hour late collecting my son and missign a MW appointment. I certainly bawled her out whenI found her. Don't mess witht he pregnant lady!
We got a big sign made after that stating that we would have them towed (as they cannot be ticketed or towed unless there is a sign clearly stating that) if they parked and I think in the 2 or so years the sign has been threre, we have rung the towie ttow or three times and no one has actually been towed. what they do is plug there plate into the system and ring them and tell them they have 10 minutes to move thier vehicle, and they come FAST! Other than that I used to leave sh*tty notes onthe windscreen and bawl them out if I caught them....
The Honest Un PC Parent of 2, usually stuck in the naughty corner! :P

Not that I heard of, the company I worked for didn't really deal with the general public so it didn't put potential customers off and the parks were for employees not clients and were clearly marked. Our receptionist probably would have told them to get bent if they came in to complain....lol
My dad had similar probs at his workplace at one point. He took to putting notes (printed/photocopied) under window wipers to say that their rego had been noted and they would be towed next time. Tricky in your situation because you are likely to have 100's of one-offs. If you start towing/clamping you will get reputation though and that word will spread.
TBH i balme the radiology signage they have car park written on it while that is true it gives people the impression that the whole car park is for their use.
We are not the only ones that get annoyed but the others don't seem to do anything about it maybe its because where i sit i can see the carpark more easily than the others or else they can"t be bothered telling people off.
Yeah as you come in to the park the one next to us was radiology this was awhile ago now tho and man we spent ages driving up and down one street looking for the place as the entrance and building is on the other street.
