yeah the party was today...from 11am-1pm...but was all over and tidied up by 1.30pm
had it at my playcentre...which was great as the kids got to play...and there was plenty of room for the adults.
also managed to cater it so well...that there was hardly any food left over.
She got lots of great clothes and books...and a kewl ride on bike...and other toys...oh and $70 worth of t and t vouchers...looking forward to spending those...(gonna wait for the summer clothing to come out)
was a fantastic day...unfortuantley she has only jsut settled (9pm) she is normall down by 6pm...and we kept to her routine ...and she didnt eat anything different apart from a tiny bit of cake...
hopefully she will sleep later in the morning.

Glad she enjoyed her 1st bday - doesn't the time go by so quickly.

yeah ours was suppose to be blue (thomas) but i made butter icing which sort of tinted it a funny green cos i used normal budget food colouring and then i didnt like the way it was decorated and just couldnt get it right and hubby and i almost divorced over it! Luckily we had done it as a trial run a few nights before the big day.
It sure aint as easy as it looks

Happy birthday Rhiannon - Kaz her cake looks lovely!
Robyn - sorry side note: i find the butter icing you need to beat for AGES and then it goes white, and then add blue food colouring, otherwise it does turn green (yellow butter +blue i guess)

Happy birthday Rhiannon cake looks great mum. I am buying Jacks cake next year as well so not worth the stress.
With the butter icing you can use kremelta(sp?) instead of butter to get it white. The lady at the icing shop told me that. But don't let it get too soft or it will take forever to harden up.
