Topic: slippers for toddlers Posted: 26 March 2009 at 11:39am |
can anyone recommend some good warm slippers for toddlers?
last year we got given a pair of sheepskin slippers in a similar style ot bobux- they were great and she worn them everyday. I have now started looking for some now in toddler sizes and can't find any I like- most of them sleep to quite a hard sole, but since she is wearing them inside and during the colder days wearing them most of the day I would really prefer them to be soft soled. I have looked in all the traditional kids shops, but can't find anything.......any recommendations?
cheers,

Have you tried the warehouse? I saw some car shaped ones with soft soles.

I've been hunting high and low for slippers for Hannah.
She's in a 3 and all places I've seen (Warehouse included, which have soft soled ones, BTW) start at a 4.

My mum bought DD some from a sheepskin outlet type place if that's any help. I think there might be a sheepskin shop in the Northcote shopping centre?

oh thanks Febgirl, that's not far from where we are so might check it out. is it the actual northcote shops or the fox outlet mall?
Rachel, i had a look in the warehouse house, but didn't see the car ones (but then again I was looking in the girls section, so might check out the boys- Ella would think car slippers are very cool).

Bobux make them up to quite big sizes and you can usually get them cheap-ish at the outlet store. I had the gremlins in their sheepskin Bobux boots right thru last winter and they have giant feet (now 2 1/2 and in a size 10 )
