I dosed the evil Mercedes wench up on both Pamol and Bonjela last night, altho I suspect her grizzling was related to the corn still working thru her system.
I was lucky with Maya that she teethed early, quickly and relatively problem free, fingers crossed that the gremlins will be as lucky (altho Murphy hates me )

I've used bonjela, teething powder and pamol one after the other, on the advice of a pharmacist.
She looked them all up and assured me that it would be okay. (I am a paranoid Mummy too) Ella had an awful time getting her molars and the combination of the 3 really helped settle her down.
I gave half an hour between each one.

Mel, it must be an Ella thing We had lots of trouble with teething here, and pamol was always a last resort for us too.. there would have been an hour or more between each thing (although have used pamol and bonjela together too). I am also in the paranoid mummy group!
Jax, don't take things too seriously.. I (and I'm sure others do too) know that you're a great mum, and wouldn't do anything to harm your gorgeous girl I think it's hard for ppl to comment unless they've had a child go through horrible times with teething.. when you've been up for hours on end week for weeks at a time

I second the comments from both GandT and Meow
No harm was ever intended on my part, just giving advice that was to be taken or left at your discretion.

Not meaning to be contradictory, but we don't have too much trouble with teething or unsettledness here, so if I'm sure it's teething I use bonjela and otherwise I go with Pamol. Have never needed to use both - but in saying that, I know some other bubs do seem to take teething more 'seriously' than my girls did.

I personally would be wary about using other homeopathic remedies in conjuction with Bonjela, or other traditional medicines, unless I could find concrete evidence that they were safe to use together. Bonjela + Pamol is about all I'll stretch to. |
I must admit that I have used teethmed with the bonjela etc though we've only normally used all three when we were really desparate.
It is really easy to forget that "natural" remedies can cancel out conventional so a big thanks for the reminder!
