Oh lucky I hope it goes well. All the talk about numbers makes me a little nervous for my next couple of tests. I'd be happy to not have any more but FA are insisting on 2 more. I just take the fact my boobs are increasingly sore as a good sign. And I'm shattered tonight.

Sweet as Mac hanging out sounds good as. Shattered and I haven't even got up yet! It's my grandmothers funeral today and picked my aunt up from the airport at midnight then didn't get to sleep till 2am. It's going to be a loooong day for this girl. But bonus I'm 5wks today!

Lucky, I have heard that after 6 weeks your best indication of where baby is at is via a scan. Your scan is tomorrow eh? And remember you can 'date' up to 5 days either side of where you think you are, as it depends on when baby implanted. I think it's still sounding good hun, but I appreciate that you know your body so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. x Also I've heard that numbers rise slower if you're carrying a boy... ;-)

Thanks mac. She was ill so in a better place. Can't wait to get the sad part over and then start enjoying my good news. She passed away the day after I found out so it's been a bittersweet time.

BC, sorry to hear about your grandmother. But yay for 5 weeks!
Mac, I haven't had any nausea, except waves of what could be considered 'mild' nausea .. boobs are getting progressively sorer though which is great and I have been feeling a lot tireder. I'm all about appreciating every symptom I get. :-)

My boobs are super sore I'm getting tired by the day and in terms of sick I feel a bit blurk if I don't eat regularly but that's even settled in the last couple days. Maybe cos I'm eating more regularly?

Oh lucky :( I'm a bit like that after one mc so can't imagine what it must be like for you. Hang in there! Lots of positive thoughts and doing nice things for yourself :) I'm worried as I don't feel nauseas today!!!!! Am wondering if it was mostly in my head yesterday :( bloods tomorrow and really hoping I get results by the end of the day going into the long weekend!

Hi girls, hoping I can join in here. Currently only just 4 weeks pregnant. Last pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 9 weeks. A bit of background, last time I started spotting at about six weeks, went to hospital and saw baby with heartbeat and also a sub chorionic haemorrhage which they said was small and not to worry about. All was fine for a while, had 8 week scan which looked fantastic, bubs measuring perfectly on target. Then I had spotting for a about a week and midwife sent me for an emergency scan at 9w4d. Baby had died two days earlier at 9w2d. Intensely painful natural mc about a week later.
So I'm very happy to be pregnant again but worried about passing all those milestones from last time, especially feeling worried that scans won't reassure me since I saw heartbeat twice last time. Also concerned about another sch because I feel like that's what caused mc last time as I think it bled out causing the consistent spotting and maybe prevented baby attaching to placenta properly.
Not sure when to contact midwife again, thinking of waiting till I'm five weeks and af is a week late.

Hi Seaview You're very welcome here, and congratulations! However there may be other places on here where you feel a better fit, I think there are a few pregnant-after-miscarriage threads. If you feel comfortable here then excellent, but many of us are post IVF/clomid/other fertility treatments and our experiences may be a little different.

Hi Seaview, I'm in the same boat as you having had a miscarriage and now nervously pregnant again. I haven't actually seen any of those other threads AA? Myself and Seaview are also in the TTC after miscarriage thread but I feel a bit uncomfortable talking about pregnancy when others are still TTC :) I think Cridic has also had a mc and I've found this thread really supportive :) xx
