Hi there,
I haven't seen Potassium Permangante mentioned before in eczema discussions, but just wanted to say we're having huge success with it.
Long story short.... Roo has horrible weeping eczema and ended up on antibiotics and a strong oral steriod. The steriod cleared his skin in 3/4 days. It was amazing, but unfortunately only a temporary effect. We saw a dermatologist this week who suggested the Potassium Permangante crystals. They've worked like a charm and have stopped the weeping so the fatty cream I use to keep him moisturised can do it's job (before it would just slide off his face!).
Anyhoo, just wanted to mention this, in case some other bubbas are having trouble with weeping eczema
ETA all you do is dissolve a teeny tiny amount of the crystals in some water and use it as a compress for a few minutes, up to 3 x day.
