Yeah i remember being shown around when we knew we Kobe was going to be in there but we didnt go with the antenatal class. Fair enough though, i know i wouldnt have wanted people staring at kobe like he was some exahibition. Getting used to the monitors is hard, everytime they beep I get a fright, spesh when bubs breathing gets really really slow, bit freaking but i guess you would get used to that working with them all day.

We do get a bit used to the monitors going off for no apparent reason, sometimes just baby wriggling and not getting good contact with the leads, but nooo, when they go off for good reason cos baby isn't breathing - I for one, am not used to that AT ALL! It freaks me out, and the few times it has happened to me i have been the one who has to do something, which is scarey, as i get a bit more experience i spose it will come as second nature - bit i still can never see myself being ok with it.
