i wasn't going to comment on this, but must admit that sometimes some posts are annoying IF on dial-up. at my dads it would annoy bme to wait 10mins to download a page that to me was boring. however, I probably wouldn't post a complaint about it personally.
MUST stick up and say that blaming this all on preggy hormones is going a bit far and personally I would be "annopyed" about that too.

What I do find ... 'interesting' is the people that post things that would be percieved as insulting but because they put a smiley face at the end it is ok?
And one more thought... if, while i was pregnant, anyone had dared to imply that my pregnancy hormones were getting away from me I truly would have beaten them to a pulp? But just cause G&T starts a post that some people take offense to we can all throw in those hormones and make light of it? I would have found that too insulting...

What a sad world it would be if we couldn't joke around with one another and make smart ass comments in the fear that someone would take it all wrong. I don't know about everyone else, but I have always accepted the smiley face as a universal indication that someone has a sense of humour and not being seriously malicious or mean. But maybe that's just me?
Personally, as a past hormonally pregnant, and often still hormonal woman, I accept the fact that I am this way...so go ahead and take the piss!! Then again, I obviously find it hard to take things seriously.

You think?
(BTW smileys are to illustrate my impressive sarcastic wit in case the phrase itself isn't sufficient)

Ok, I have stayed away from these types of posts in the past, but now have decided to add my 2 cents worth.
To me, this is just like the letters in the tv guide complaining about a bad programe (be it swearing.sex whatever). If you don't like what youa re watching - change the channel! That is what i do!
i am on dialup and have no worries with loadingpages that are dull to me. If I am short n time then i don't tend to make it to general that day.
But why should what I want/like/find useful dictate what everyone else gets to see or do?

Whoa! Only just checked this thread and look what I was missing! Andie, you crack me up.
I don't care enough to post an opinion either way (have been entertained reading this thread though - I must be a drama queen! .)
I did think that maybe this is a good time to suggest better/clearer titles when you start a new thread, so that those on dial up can more clearly see what the subject is without having to open the whole thing? There have been a lot of thread titles lately that are quite ambiguous and I find that I skip over them and miss some good stuff. That would also make it easier to vet what you wanted to read.
Carry on!

I find the 'tease' more fun actually, but general rule of thumb for me is that if it gets to 2 or 3 pages, then I am seriously missing something!

If the majority are thinking that a clearer heading/title would make life easier for those on dial up then possibly asking if people would mind making it clearer to see what the post is about would have been better than starting a thread that is just going to upset people. I personally dont mind either way about the heading but can understand it may be frustrating if you are using dial up.
