Ahh yes the loss of bending. I think i lost that about a month ago and was totally amazed that after having Caleb i could actually pick things up and not have to worry about getting DH or struggling if I dropped something on the floor. I am still amazed by the fact I have feet again.
lol about the cleaning urges. I didnt really get them much, I did want the house tidy but it was the night I finished all the sewing I was doing for Roo that I went into labour. I guess he was waiting to make sure I had all his stuff finished.
How are you going Jo, are you still haging in there or have we got another April baby?
I hope that Faraway had a good birth and her and baby are doing well.

Nah, I'm still in one piece...
Definitely no bending over going on here either. Was not so good yesterday - being a bit of a cold day, I wanted to put on socks and shoes to go out (rather than the jandals I live in these days). Quite a challenge! I'm definitely putting socks in my hospital bag just so I can see if I can put them on!! Hehe.
Had my mum down for the day yesterday, and we made lots of soup and a casserole to fill up the freezer. That's about as much nesting as I've really done.
Argh, so big and uncomfy! I looked at my belly in the mirror today and thought "the thing in this big bump is coming out WHERE???" Just doesn't seem possible...maybe I just shouldn't think about it! :)

lol its amazing howmuch we stretch, I was very suprised when I looked at Haleigh, it jsut looks impossible.
Sending labour vibes to you Jo so we can have a wittle bubby to hopefully cluck over at the meet up (if your up to coming).
I struggle to bend have done for a while, its horrible when Im carrying Haleigh to bed and then she drops ehr carebear or cuddly and screams cause she wants it so I have to somehow bend down holding her to pick it up, not easy lol jsut lucky Im no where near as clumsy this time round hehe.
Good luck for those of you still waiting to have bubs.

I feel like if I stretch anymore I am likely to pop! My skin feels so tight over the bump, I am amazed I haven't gotten any stretch marks yet!
The thing that freaks me out is when I catch my profile view in a mirror! I have the same thought Jo, OMG this thing has to come out yet! Logistically it doesn't really seem possible does it!
I also live in jandals. Tried to get socks on a couple of days ago and only managed one and that was with much grunting and straining! Glad DH wasn't home to see that! Have now taken to throwing a blanket over my feet if they get cold or convincing the cat to lie on them
Still not long to go now

Yep, it's slippers for me when I'm at home! My cat's definitely not that cooperative!
Wow, Sterryn, no stretch marks, you lucky thing! I was doing great till about 34 wks, then they started appearing. I don't think they are too bad though - not too dark or bright, so hopefully will fade nicely. And as they are on the lower part of my tummy, I can't really see them at the moment, so can pretend they're not there!
Argh, getting the calls every day now from people asking if I'm in labour yet... I know they mean well, but it's making me crazy. Plus I feel like i can't go to the shops or whatever because then I don't answer the phone and they think I'm in hospital!!
Okay, that's my moan for the day...

Isn't that annoying. It has started for me - today in fact. I had my MIL, my dad and my brother all called and ask if I have had her yet.
Amazing really, since clearly I would be telling them if she had

Oooo, my waters broke this morning! Nothing else happening yet...
But still if anyone rings me, I'm NOT in labour!! My m/w only counts labour from when it's "established labour" with so many contractions per 10 minutes etc, so I'm going with that so I don't have to feel like I'm lying!

Hi everyone
I was induced last Sunday night and at 7.12 the next morning our little son Kaleb Bevan was born (8pounds). We came home from the hospital on Wednesday and had two hellish nights as I don't have enough milk for him. We are supplementing with formula at the moment but am really concerned I won't ever have enough as he is a really hungry little guy. His last feed this morning he took the breasts for 30min then about 80/90ml of expressed milk and another 20 of formula. Hard to hear m/w say not to worry about milk - I CAN get it out when I express (though still not much) but he can't be sucking anything when he's on me
He is a darling and I am coming to terms with having to give him formula as a top up (and overnight so I can express) as its the best thing for him. My DH is so supportive too...

YAY, Congratulations Faraway, and welcome to another wee Kaleb this month
Try not to worry too much about the b/f issues, alot more people have them than any of us realise, and the important thing is that you have a happy, healthy wee boy

Congratulations Faraway Glad to hear you and Kaleb are okay. My SIL was having trouble getting her newborn to b/f so she decided to switch to formula fully on day 2 and her little one is doing so much better than when they were both struggling and getting upset. I guess it comes down to finding out whatever works better for you. I hope everything settles down a bit for you soon.

congratulations
I had problems feeding once I got mastitis and expressed for 6wks but was so tired my milk supply got smaller and haleigh was hungry ALL the time so I never got sleep.
If you do decide to go to formula don't feel bad my girls thrived on it and the msot important thing is if you and your bubs are happy.
Its great your mans supportive, mine was a mess you'd think it was him doing all the work lol, but he was the one who said I had to start using formula as I jsut wasnt coping.
Good Luck with your new wee man

Hi Faraway, congrats on your little man. I had the same problems you are having with your boy as I had with Andrew. I perserved with the feeding expressing and formula for a while (and got really tired) and then for my own health formula fed him. He is fine and my health was so much better off.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
