Over the past week Ella has started to get way more clingy than normal. She used to fine if I left her playing on her own so I could go to the bathroom etc, but lately everyone I leave she starts to protest- this afternoon she started crying because I got her bag out of the car before her. It isn't just me either, whenever the caregiver left her this afternoon she started doing exactly the same thing. I realise that it is totally normal around 8 months for babies to go through this..........just wondering how long I should expect this phase to last????

It is defintely the age for her to be clingy. Often babies that have been ok with different people holding them get become very shy at this age too.
