Worst mother award goes to..... ME!

My poor baby face planted the gravel this morning. we were walking through the forest (that will teach me for trying to exercise) and she was going to town, she hates the pushchair and wants to walk everywhere. She was strapped in but kept twisting around and ended up somehow toppling over the side and i just couldnt catch her quick enough. There was blood everywhere and she was screaming, of course we were in the middle of the forest and i had no cellphone reception, (although i dont know who i would have called anyway) but i basically had to run with her screaming while pushing the pushchair over the bumpy forest till we got to the car and i raced her to the doctors. She is fine though, just some wee cuts and grazes on the inside of her mouth and a fat lip and nose but is happy as now... Its just mum who is a mess. I still have no idea how she managed to twist out of the pushchair like that but never again!

You the worst mother, yeh right whatever.  You are a good mum.  These things happen.  She is ok.  Ummm fleury has the right idea, have some alcohol, or still even better chocolate!

Ella fell flat on her back today at kindy, off the swing, and I was standing right there! Luckily they make kids out of rubber, I can't count the number of times Ella has hurt herself!

Eek! Its bad mummy day all round!
My Ella fell headfirst down a slide today. I was standing right there staring into space until I realised it was my child crashing towards me!
Poor girl is sporting yet another bruise on her face now.

i am the best mum today and feel oh so superior - haha joking. i had work and barely saw the kids. probably not the best mum thne either.

Big hugs Robyn theres not enough room on the page to say how many times Jack has hit his face. I think it looks like way more blood when it comes out their mouths.

haha, i did some wine appreciation 'homework' to help me sleep, i just kept seeing her hit the ground and it makes me feel sick. Good old hubby goes, well why would you want to picture it, just dont think about it. like its that easy.

I went and brought a new pushchair today, really dont want to use the old one again. this one she sits right in it but the bertini doesnt really have sides as such which made it easier for her to fall out. Hubby is not impressed cos i have a thing for pushchairs and he thinks im over reacting but oh well, i hated the other one anyway
