When is it time to see...

I dont think a GP will refer you until after 12 months. As much as it sucks, "they" say that its "normal" for it to take up 12 months, even longer for healthy couples to concieve.

It took us 17 cycles to get pregnant with Hannah.

I know it's hard, but it's generally a 12 month minimum before your GP will refer you on if you have no medical history to indicate fertility problems.

As others have said...a year is normal. Took us just over a year to have our little girl.

For a free referral you need to wait 12 months but if you're happy to pay you can refer yourself.

I read somewhere something like 60% get pregnant in the first 6 months, 20% in the next 6 months (where you are) then 10% in the next and 10% in the next. Doesn't quite work as that makes it sound like everyone is pregnant within 2 years which isn't true, but perhaps those are the stats for people without anything wrong? I can't remember where I read that but maybe this website http://www.fertilityplus.com/   another friend that went to the doc told her it could take up to 18 months to get pregnant (we're about the same age as you).

I think either referring yourself or going to see a naturopath/acupuncture now would be worth it. If nothing else it makes you feel better actively doing something. Or at least that's how I've felt. Every time AF arrives I tend to try and find my new solution for the month. It stops me going insane.
