$2 at the one down the road and they are quite generous IMO, and at another place a bit further away it's $2.50 for regular chips and $3.20 for kumara chips.

We pay $2 here in Waiouru, but yesterday we stopped off in Hunterville and they charged $3 a scoop - daylight robbery there, and they weren't nice.

Is your local So Fine Seafoods? They're so worth it (top fish & chip shop in the country!). We had f&c's from there last night. We ALWAYS get more than we ordered, not just in potato fritters either! Last night, we got an extra piece of fish.

I think ours varies around 2 to 2.50?
I did notice when I was in Oz it was way more expensive. They dont' get F&C over there cause the fish is really expensive too & that is at a coastal city!
