Funnily enough Maree I was wondering how you were getting on just the other day, but got a blow-by-blow update from Jax

How is Connor going with the milk allergy btw...

Thanks Emma.
Connor had a milk tolerance test at Starship a couple of weeks back and came through with flying colours. He's now having follow-on formula feeds with his three meals of solids a day. It makes him a bit more spewy but other than the extra stains on the carpet, that's not a bad thing. He has two teeth, is crawling (well, dragging) himself around the room and squawks at the cat.
Pictures which are kinda recent are available at... Dunlopia

We love you! And I would reply to your text but it involves getting off my lazy butt to get the phone off the kitchen bench

And yay for Connor Maree. Maya did that same challenge about 18 mths ago and also came thru with flying colors, it's a great feeling! Will check out pics, and must come over your way some time soon.

I agree with you Maree I have been on here since I was about 20 weeks preg with Jack and I still feel like an outsider sometimes. I noticed you and Paws didn't post as much but figured it was just because of a baby and toddler you must be pretty busy.

Now I'll need to launch into a clean-up mode to see if I still have the receipt. Eeek. What a pain!!! Somewhere in the northern part of the North Island there are two strollers gathering even more dust than if they were in my garage.
Yeah Rach, it has been a bit hectic with three rather than two kiddies, but I still come on line - usually lurking rather than posting. Paws is a lurker too...she has that kind of personality....lurk, lurk...(I can say this because I know she's going to harass me about it later, thus proving even further that she's been lurking
) Well, kid's are awake again and the husband has vanished....time to go and see what they are up to.

yeah well if you can find the receipt that would be good for you. You could at least get the money back for postage and probably some money to cover the cost of the strollers. But dont go to to much trouble we are actually getting along fine without one now.

Geepers creepers I just came on here and didn't want to post exact names about who I wanted to meet on the so-called popularity thread but thought of you Maree. (And all the others that think they haven't been mentioned)

Anyway, I did go back and mention your name... then came back to read this. Now it seems like I put your name just to make a point but I really would LOVE to meet you.

An aside - I'd just like to say that I for one, DO pay attention. Whether I have time to reply specifically to anyone's comments or not is a different story as usually I am guilt ridden due to procrastination, or fending off a hungry and whingy toddler, or sneaking on while Tobin is otherwise occupied... so try to make it quick.

We've not forgotten you all... I think you are all fab.

Hehe. Kids are awake but the husband has left the house to go to the shops so I can get back to the computer without him cottoning on to the fact that this is what I do most of the day.....

Ahhhh Nikki - you gave in to the peer pressure! (Me being the peer that pressured you). Cheers for that...and as James Stewart said in some old movie that plays every Christmas...every time my name is mentioned, an angel gets it's wings (may have been edited for dramatic purpose). The angels thank you.

Okay I don't want to put the cat amongst the pigeons so to speak, but of course we remember you! And just because you don't feel you've made it to the recent "hall of fame" IYGWIM, doesn't mean you aren't appreciated on here! If this board only had the few that we've seen named there (and don't forget a lot of ppl aren't posting in that thread), it would be a very boring place.

Emeldee, every time I see your name I remember how it came to be your name and I'm like, yea, that's really clever! Just wish I could have done something with Teeseeayyy LOL. I watch Becca's posts with interest, often because she has 3 kids and sometimes cause when she's talking about her DH it catches my eye (my DH has the same name). Nikki first introduced me to MCN although she probably doesn't know and it was Vanessa's thread about shows that got me charged on the search engine after I had a show for Krystiana lol - that's just off the top of my head and of course there are many more I could think of.

OhBaby isn't about popularity, it's about a supportive community where you can ask questions, get suggestions, and offer your knowledge and advice to help others. We all want to "matter" of course! But just cause you haven't been specifically named doesn't mean you don't matter!
