Topic: Oka little embarrassing Posted: 10 May 2006 at 5:04pm |
Just had a bit of an afternoon "roll in the hay" with my man and now I've got cramps
They don't feel anything like the braxton hicks I've been getting or anything, just a dull constant cramp.
Is that normal?? I don't want to ring my midwife coz I already have today and its the one I really HATE (I usually see any 1 of 3 midwives).
I've taken a couple of panadol but so far it hasn't done anything & its supposed to be the "rapid" stuff so not really sure what to do now.

first of all good on you but how? well I know how of course but man thats the last thing I feel like these days, couldnt think of anything worse to be honest!!! but anyway is it at the top or bottom or your stomach? could it be left over ummm orgasim type spasms if that makes sense and isnt TMI. Someone else had these sort of problems a wee while ago I think and went to the hospital but apparentl baby had just packed a sad at the bouncing around and rolled into a wee ball or something, the thread is around somewhere

Ok I don't think its labour coz its just a dull steady ache, not coming & going or anything...and besides I'm pretty positive this baby is going to be late like his brother was.
LMAO I'm always keen for a roll in the hay...usually don't since the tummy gets in the way though.
The cramp is low down just like period pain. Its not too bad but painful enough to notice it

I wouldnt worry unless it starts coming and going like contractions. I often have a dull ache at the bottom of my stomach but cant blame it on having a good time like you.
This baby is way to active it would feel way to weird to have sex with the baby kicking around!

I get orgasm spasms too... both last time and this time round!! Maybe it is just a uterus-clenching type thing? I am sure you and bub will be fine!!

Lol I know I'm being a big wuss but I really hate all this uncomfiness in pregnancy.
I wish it was labour...oh god do I wish it was labour!!! I've so had it with being pregnant, I want him out & in his own cot instead of sharing my body & booting the bugger out of me!
It does feel weird doing the wild thing at this stage, I haven't had cramp like this before but I'm sure it will be fine, I just need to whinge I guess

i remember having pain after sex in the late stages with my daughter too. i did mention it to my midwife and she said that it was probably due to using muscles that were already stretched to the max. it was a very period cramp type feeling for me too.

LOL Roksana! First time pregnant I actually asked my midwife to tell Spencer it was "OK" to do the wild thing!!
She even told him it is actually good for the muscles down there so he had no excuses to not put out
Anyway, I had a lovely warm bath and the crampy feeling went away so I'm guessing it was just another one of those lovely pregnancy aches & pains.

Oh thats a bit of a bummer for you Roksana.
My first pregnancy I was always keen for a good shag (lol there's another one to put on the list!) but this time around I'm like "yeeaaahhhh I suppose...." I just can't be bothered too much & my belly gets in the way.
