Have you used either of these before?
I would like to be able to buy supermarket vouchers but i dont have enough hmmm what do you call it.. i will just buy one voucher and not the rest or il use them during the year. So im thinking about getting progressive vouchers through Chrisco, it cost you $540 for $500 in vouchers for you to use at countdown, woolworths or new world..
Either that or just getting a big hamper, but them with the vouchers i could get what i want.
We usually shop at Pak n Save and only Mrs Christmas do pak n save, BUT you have to buy a hamper first to be able to get them and it kind of defeats the purpose really..
Have you used them before?

how about setting up a seperate bank account and transferring $10 a week into it. Then by Christmas you would have $500 to do whatever you want. (next christmas obviously)

I get the Chrisco hampers, expecting delivery today actually.
I got them cause I found I never have the extra $5 to get christmas club vouchers, also I the hampers are really nice with lots of lovely things.
There are a lot of treats in them, like chocolates and biscuits which I like getting for christmas.
Last year I was able to make christmas lunch from the contents of my hamper, and will do the same this year.
Next year I'll probably add petrol vouchers, as we are going away for Christmas. The most I've paid is $5 a week for my hamper and that gets enough food to feed 4 adults for Christmas day, and provides a couple of tins in the pantry for when we get back from holidays.

I love my Chriscos! We get hampers, vouchers and sometimes the gifts. DD's and 8 niece and nephew's BDs are between November and January. So the vouchers come in really handy.
I'm also a Chriscos agent so if anyone needs a Catalogue PM me and I'll get one in the post to you.

i just received my Chrisco delivery, i ordered the traditional hamper with ham, it has everything I need for christmas day.
Ham, veges, dessert, even nuts and chocolates.
Its great I've received over $250 worth of food and there is no way I would be able to come up with that much money from my wages the week before christmas.

If you are terrible with money then they are great and you don't even notice the money coming out. But they are expensive as in you pay way more than you would at the shop but if your only getting vouchers the extra $40 may be worth it?
I got stuff from the toys and gifts one a few years ago and it was so great not having to worry or go shopping but I was kinda annoyed at seeing the same things wayyy cheaper in kmart.

If you'd normally shop and paknsave, and you are paying $540 for $500 newworld/woolworths dollars, thats quite a mark up, given $500 won't buy you as much as new world as it would have at paknsave either.

This year has been a good year for the hampers, as the prices were set this time last year, and the price of food has increased a lot since then, so think I've done good.

I get the chriscos hampers as well, I've also done the vouchers and toys etc. One year we got a BBQ. I hate shopping at xmas time no matter what its for, would rather avoid going places and also with 2 kids now timing a supermarket run is a mission at the best of times . I just start putting money in and then choose which ones I want in a couple of months when i've seen what this years hamper is like, I don't think we have had the same one twice!

Get xmas club vouchers - they cost $4-65 for a $5 value and you can't use them until december. We find them fab.
and to be honest, sometimes you just need to kick yourself in the bum and say no more. no one controls your impulse to buy but you. Get some budgeting advice! Might help.

I have done chriscos the last 4 years and found it great, living half an hour from town and with no self control with money lol and now 3 kids id rather not have to go shopping close to xmas..
Theres not always money left in the grocery budget for vouchers so chrisco is easy for us, im also a distributor :)

This is what I will do or get supermarket vouchers each week whatever you can afford then go in and do a big shop

I buy $10-$15.00 dollars worth of Pak n Save christmas club stamps every time I do my usual shopping. With each $30.00 they give you $2.00 so it's like getting interest on savings. It's great fun spending the extra at Christmas and buying heaps of treats.
And you only get stuff you like!!

I have been dong Chrisco for the last 5 years now, which has included the food hampers, vouchers, toys, pamper hampers etc and I have found over all the cost for what you actually get is 50% more than you would spend going to the supermarket getting the exact same thing. the hampers have got smaller and dearer and the vouchers have a 8% mark up. I cancelled my payments for next year and have a paknsave Xmas club acct, the best thing about this is, it is a Direct debit to my xmas account and all for the certains months of the year you get between 4-6% interest on what you paid in the acct that month. I have also done this for the past 2 years just to cover all my basis and it has been fantastic, the vouchers are also valid for the year.

Last year I got xmas club vouchers from Pak'n'Save. Got just over $400 for the year just buying the odd $10-$15 vouchers every 2 weeks. Thing about them is that you can only spend them in December and after a certain date. I started doing it this year but as I moved up here I wasn't able to do them. But I still ahve $55 worth of them sitting at home that I will use for stuff.

ive done chrisco for the last 4yrs, its awsome, mine arrived the other day 
i know it works out your actually paying heaps more but i dont care, i get all my pressies for family etc thru chrisco too (vouchers etc)
and with sarahs birthday 3 days before christmas i always get 1 of the kids hampers too which is all the food for her party
im also a chrisco agent too so can PM me also with your address and ill send one. (you dont have to buy anything i have heaps of catalogues)
