dont know why you are in such a hurry! three is hard work ... appeciate being pregnant.

I'm afraid I agree with Bizzy - it's going to take time. If baby isn't ready, then anything you do isn't going to hurry her along.

You're still a wee way off your due date and that is only an estimate after all. She may only drop during labour, which someone correct me if I'm wrong - that is quite often the case with second & subsequent pregnancies.

my second never engaged at all - even when i went into labour! When he came down he came out!

My MW said I was ready to go at 38 weeks, fully engaged, right position, and I was already 2CM, and all the rest and I still went 10 days overdue, which meant almost a month of getting my hopes up.    I tried everything I could and only then did I realise that he was a stubborn wee bugger and would only come when HE was ready, and I went into spontaneous labour while at the hospital on my induction date.

Sorry that your pregnancy hasn't been easy, it sucks being SO close, yet not knowing when it's going to happen.

I do agree with the others though, get as much sleep as you possibly can, rest, relax, look after yourself.   I know I had forgotten how much harder it is with a newborn, especially with other children.      Although I did prefer it over being heavily pregnant, in pain and overdue!

Jake only engaged literally an hour or so before my waters broke and I went into labour.

Charlotte was 2 weeks late and not engaged at all, so had to have drugs to get her down and out, lol, and MW broke waters about 15 mins before she was born.

you think that a mw would know that nothing will make a baby come before it is ready... if you knew nothing would make her 'drop" then why ask... of course people are going to say relax and take it easy. there is nothing else you can do. If you want to take it the wrong way that is up to you, but there are some people on here who it seem do genuinely care for you and i am sure they would agree that taking it easy is all you can do... after all you of all people should know how hard it is to have a baby in NICU or PICU if something did go wrong from trying to get her out when shes not ready.

and I thought I'd add that although I also believe babys come when they are ready, noone actually knows what makes a baby set labour off. So for all we know she could be very well ready but Trish's body needs a little bit of encouragement. Most of those things aren't going to do much if they don't work and I personally would prefer to encourage baby out naturally than having an artificial induction but thats just me...

im staying out of this one , but just thought id add, that lying on your left side is supposed to at least get baby into a good position , which I dunno might help, and lying on your left side in the bath is supposed to help them get into a better position to come out a well .

haha , I did it everynight , and you know what ? its realllly hard ! I was slipping and sliding all over the place and it was very hard to get up again !
I understood what a beached whale must feel like !
