I have one and my periods are totally random and should really only be called spotting. I have done quite a few pregnancy tests from paranoia so just do one to make sure. If you keep getting the pain maybe go yo your GP to get checked out.

I've had one for 2 years now and my periods are mostly regular but very light. I have missed the odd one here and there though, but apparently that can be normal with the Mirena.
I also get a lot of hot, stabby pains with ovulation and pre-period. Apparently this is common too, but if it is really bad and lasting and uncommon for you with your Mirena, I would be off to the doc to get checked if I were you. I wouldn't want to mess around with that kind of thing, just in case it is something.
Hope it goes away and you're feeling better soon chick!

I've had mine for a few months now and I have had pretty irregular bleeding so far- mainly just spotting really. I had pain around the time of insertion but nothing since. I think anything unusual for you that includes pain you should probably have checked out.
