The pillowcases that come with your cot sheets? I have quite a few of these now due to getting a lot of cot sheet sets for gifts, but you don't use a pillow for babies and I don't know that you can even get a pillow to fit them.
Was just wondering if anyone had any creative ideas of what else could be done with them.

I used mine empty to catch spills when she is in bed. Although now I just use a nappy. (an old cloth one, not a disposable lol).
I am interested in what others say though, I would love something creative to make with all of my spare linen, I just started cleaning out the linen cupboard and we have an amazing amount of pillow cases

I use my normal sized ones to store summer/winter clothes in between seasons, as its what my Mum use to do, but the baby ones are just too small for this.

If they are decorative enough you can stretch them over a canvas board to make a picture.

Yeah canvases would be cool... if you have lots of the same (or even if they're different), you could do a set of canvases, and then use the others to make matching cushions (just and sew so it's a square and then stuff with stuffing from Spotlight, or find a cushion inner that's the right size).
That's if they're patterned ones...

Thats a cool idea with the canvases.
I guess you could store baby clothes in them, like mittens and booties or hats?

DD did actually start using a pillow when she was still in her cot - at maybe 18 months or so? She would turn round the wrong way and use the folded up blankets at the end of her bed as a pillow (in summer) so I figured she wanted one. You can buy the cot sized ones from Baby Factory/Baby City - they are really really thin, so I did eventually use my pillowcases

I put them in the cot where Capreces head sits so if she dribbles or something I only have to change the pillowcase.

I have sometimes used them as a liner like Rach but otherwise you could put them away for a year or two and reintroduce them to your little girl as dolly wraps. My girls love to wrap their dolls in anything!!!

I have some ideas...
Store shoes in them -- they are a great size for adult shoes, especially when travelling and needing shoe bags for the suitcase.
Mini laundry bag, great for popping into the nappy bag to tuck dirty clothes into (and more environmentally friendly than a plastic bag).
Snip a hole into the open end's sewn-down bit and thread a shoelace through to make a drawstring bag -- great for washing "delicates" in.
Use as storage bags for baby blankets and quilts -- keeps them compact and tidy in the linen cupboard.
They are also the perfect size for using with a doll's cot mattress! Emma Rose has them for "sheets" on her doll cradle mattress.
