I always get so annoyed when 'the booze made me do it' is used as an excuse for assualt or rape.
It's not considered excusable if you hit someone with your car if you are intoxicated, infact it's a crime to get behind the wheel in the first place!

One of the guys I am friends with on facebook had the status update when this was first disclosed something along the lines of why does the NZ entertainer who is being charged with indecent whatever or whatever it is look like P Money lol
But yep agree the booze made me do it excuse is annoying! I get drunk, or have in the past and done stupid things but never said the booze made me do it

Sad that he seems to be getting away with it just because some "high-profile music industry leaders had written [the judge] letters to vouch for the man's character." (as well as the drink made me do it excuse)
So if you don't have high-profile mates to vouch for your characted then you better obey the law .. otherwise, do what you like!!
IMO if you don't want your record sales to suffer then don't do stupid things

if it is under name suppression, naming, even on something like this, can get you in BIG trouble, so if you know, don't say on here.

Whoever it is he is a disgusting low life and imo the judge made a bad call. He should have been named and shamed.

Yeah Elle you might want to edit your post.
I don't know the full story so I can't really pass any judgement but I hate how he hasn't been named after he was found guilty and that 16 year old who crashed that van and killed a couple of kids was named before she even had the right to a fair trial.
