Right... I had to go before as Joey was having a fit at my feet... he is now having a fit in bed after his snack etc.
I have been dinking heaps of water today... feel a bit waterlogged but it's supposed to help. Worked for Toni last week too by the looks of it! Well done!

I want to join the weightloss gang!!!! But I am really slack and have no motivation so can you pleeeeease help me? I think it is time I lost the extra weight I put on while preggy, which was a huge 20kgs. I'm still about 7 kgs over my pre-preggy weight, but am finding it really hard to loose that last 7kgs. Any tips (apart from huge amounts of exercise)

huge amounts of varying exercise nicola-ann. try not to do the same thing everytime as i found my body got used to it. if you are walking, try running from one power pole to another, then walk for 3-4 poles then run for 2 poles etc....
i can also highly recommend winsor pilates as a sure fire way to tone up everywhere! honestly, my thighs are a definate prob area and with pilates, they shrink! also that flabby belly really does get flatter
good luck ladies! you can do it!
i'll be joining you in about 60days

robyn definately try the pilates! i swear by it, honestly! i just do the 20min workout 3/4 times a week and after a couple of weeks you can really notice a difference. then once you're up to it, you can do the hour long workout once a week (time permitted obviously with 2 kiddlets )
i think they have them on tv at the mo for $14.95??? otherwise, you can always get them on trademe

I bought this yoga video with strong intentions to do it, but...oh my, we have some very interesting poses. I think i bought the advanced one instead! Might try and off in on trade me and use the cash to buy a pilates ones. (BTW, was it just me who thought pilates was pronounced to rhyme with "pirates")
Anyway, was bad today and didn't have breakfast. was being a martyr and Lewis hadn't done the dishes so couldn't use the frying pan to cook scrambled eggs. so starved and though he would notice....but he didn't, so i had to have some lollies.
excuses over - i'm going to get a water bottle tomorrow and drink tons of water. Hope I'm not going to have to pee constantly as septci tank is still a prob!
And Congratulations for all the ladies who lost this week!

I hate drinking water too. I ask Spencer to get me water if I ask him to get me a drink so then I'm not tempted by the fridge..... Thats the only way I've managed to be "good" with water.
Any ideas for breakfast for someone who HATES cereal of any kind? I'm kind of getting over the whole toast thing & while I was enjoying having fruit breakfasts it has affected Blaire through my breast milk.

Maria - we had it drained and can use it kinda. Baths are being bucketted into the washing machine - which has a hose leading directly to the drain - maybe illegal actually. As for the loo - WARNING - we now are conservationist believing "if it's yellow, let it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down". Gross, but I can say I'm being environmentally sound. As for when it'll get fixed - can't do anything until the ground dries up more!

What about yoghurt or boiled eggs for breakfast? With the whole diabete diet i was on I would have a low fat yoghurt and a piece of fruit. Or what about crumpets (low in fat if you watch what you put on it) or toastd muffins.

Thanks guys, unfortunately (sort of) I think some of the fact that it's coming off relatively easily is because my appetite is a bit rooted at the moment... so hopefully once that problem is solved it won't all pile back on ! I do find small meals / snacks during the day easier to manage on though.

Well this morning I had 3 pieces of crumpet toast with marmite & an apple followed by lots & lots of water. Then I got hungry again (maybe the water flushed all the food out of my stomach??) so I had a couple of cruskits with cottage cheese on it.
I have no idea what to have for lunch but I'mthinking baked beans maybe or just a couple of lettuce & cheese sandwiches.

Well Toni, you are making milk for two kidlets.. no wonder you are hungry!!!
But yeah, I was going to suggest yoghurt for brekkie too. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day tho, so make sure you find something decent to keep you going!
