Well my oldest was nearly three when I weaned him, second son was weaned last month (nearly 3) & Miss 10months is still going strong. Just suits me to breastfeed for that long.... I always said though I would not be breastfeeding a school kid, that would be outside my personal comfort zone. The World Health Organisation recommend breastfeeding until the age of two.
