Im glad the docs were respectful of your wishes.
Go where you feel you will have the most support. Is it possible or do you want to leave Maya in Australia for a couple of weeks so you can come back to NZ for just some you and Willie Time?
Thinking of you, and Im glad that the bush fires didnt get to you!

Ohhh, Emma! I read one of your other posts somewhere else, and was so excited for you I went looking for your "official" announcement so I could congratulate you. When I saw this one, I cried.
You, Willie and Maya are in my prayers (but especially you).

I was reading a post and noticed that you didn't have your baby due message in your sig anymore, so came looking here for answers.
I'm so, so sorry.. I can't imagine how it must feel, but take heart in that everything happens for a reason. *big hugs*
p.s
I'm not sure what you should do about being in Australia, but your parents will help look after Maya if you stay.. but like you, I'd want to be with my s/o too hope you figure things out soon!

Thanks It is getting easier as time goe by, although in the beginning I thought it never would. And being home in NZ is really healing too, seeing Willie and being in my own house again.

Emma I'm so sorry, It breaks your heart when you see that scan and then find they have gone. the best advice I can give you is talk about it, that was a baby and no matter how small you, willie and maya have suffered a loss. I reckon having bubs back really helps as it's quite healing. Thinking about you!

Thats really sad Emma, Im sorry to hear you lost your baby. Whenever I hear things like this it reminds me of when I lost our twins at 10 weeks. For ages I felt like I had to justify why I was so upset when I was only 10 weeks but in the end I thought no matter how far along I was they were still my babies and part of our future. I buried them with a rose and now think of them whenever I see it. Our baby is due 3 days before the twins were due which was not at all planned but kind of nice.

It takes time emma, you will know when you are ready and when you do you will find a lot of comfort in doing so. I brought a tiny little chest for our little might and it took me months before i could even bring myself to look at it. Then one day i was just ready to say goodbye. You never ever forget but on the whole it does get easier. And now you have this whole other thing to deal with as well. Look after yourself and remember to talk when you need to.
