Hehe that's so funny

I hate "everythink" like how the guy from the Pak'n'save ads says it - "everythink we do, we do to save you money". Grrr I think they may have changed it though. And Yous and Aks- those are awful!
For some reason I hate it when people write 'dat' instead of that.

My big, huge pet hate is peoples eating habits- I hate it when people talk with their mouths full or chew with their mouths open. It makes me feel sick! I even broke up with a guy because of the way he ate

Because of my accent, I changed the 'rhythm' (for lack of a better description) of how I speak to make it somewhat easier on people, and it drives me mad when people say they can't understand me - because I *know* I'm speaking clearly ! Or I say one thing, and they think I've said something entirely different (usually try to blame it on a 'bad line'), but again I know I speak clearly - my mum is an English teacher, and I take a lot of pride in my writing and speaking. Plus you'd think with so much American TV that it wouldn't be so strange really.

And to add insult to injury he has done a new promo that they play every single time I do the shopping in the Hutt........... argghhh "hullo shoppers Kiiiiven here at the new Hutt City Pak n Save........blah blah blah bloody blah"

My family refer to him as my boyfriend because they know how much he irritates me.

Oh, speaking of accents, when i was in japan, my american "friend" would always remark about how "funny" I spoke, and ask me "why do you say it like that?". drove me crazy.
along with the guy who said "we don't speak english we speak american", and..
the girl who constantly tried to make me say "that's terrible muriel"

then again I did tormet the poor scottish girl trying to get her to say
"that's no how you make porridge"

oooh one NZ launguage affliction I HATE (god there is loads) is the tendancy to make the last word in a statement "up" so it sound like we are asking questions al the time "you know?" (said like Lyn of Tawa..)

ALSO Language/grammar/etc NAZI here AGAIN, today, I was having a meeting in a cafe with my manager, and I couldn't help myself, I had to tell the manager of the Cafe tht her boards were wrong, that it is Sandwiches and Bagels, NOT Sandwich's and Bagel's (or box's of sushi, either..)She asked me if I would like to do the blackboards for her, so I said, SURE, bring them in...
