Jake andTaine have huge dark eyes- Jake's are nearly black - but both have my hair colouring and complexion - no sign of the islander or maori really. But Jake goes caramelly in summer (sigh - i go red , then brown - but white is cool now right?). not sure about Taine but bet he does the same. Both kids are big though.
Jack has gone lighter with really blue eyes too. At least her hair is changing rather than falling out. Jacks fell out except for the top and the back, he looked really funny and then one day it just seemed to appear a lot lighter.
I had white blonde hair until i was ten and have hazel eyes. after age ten i started dying my hair so now its dark brown, no idea what shade it is naturally. My husbands hair is such a dark brown it looks black. (he is 1/2 rarotongan) and he has brown eyes.
So, our first daughter was born with chocolate brown hair, which all fell out and grew back blonde, which then gradually darkened again and is now a dark blonde/light brown shade. her eyes are big and blue! we each have a blue eyed parent so there ya go.
our 2nd child is brunette, (born that way and stayed that way) and has lovely brown eyes, just like her daddy.
