Chelsea still seems to be dominating but not to such the same scale.
As suggested I tried yelling the name and prefered to yell Elliot. Not sure whether this means she'll be more subsceptible to being growled as it's more fun or not, lol |

charli often gets called a boy...STILL!!!
when she was a baby, it went like this
 awww gorgeous, what's the name?
 charli
charli, what a handsome wee fella
 she's a girl (that's why she's in pink! duh!)
oh. charli? is that short for something?
no, just charli i think elliot is a great name, it makes me think of the chick on scrubs. chelsea, to me, sounds posh...no offense anyone!!!!! maybe you should wait until she's born and then decide. it can make it easier once you are actually looking at bubs |

I always presumed Charli was pronounced Sharley Elliot sounds like a boys' name to me, I didn't even know it was a unisex name until this thread |

Elliot reminds me of the chick off scrubs and Chelsea reminds me of Chelsea Clinton I did go to school with a boy called Elliot so it does kind of seem like a boys name to me- but there are lots of Unisex names around now.
Out of the 2 I prefer Chelsea though.

yeah, some people (usually old people) just don't get it... When Seb was very little (and dressed in blue/green) I would get told what a lovely little girl he is... and what's his name "Sebastian" Oh that's so pretty. I wonder if the poor thing was a little lost... it's not exactly a modern name either.

So baby is definately a girl which is a start. We have called her Chelsea Jay. Howerve I'm struggling with the name as still not quite sure and simply refer to her as baby girl so don't be surprised if we change our minds in the next couple of days.
