We were using a damp q-tip (cotton bud thing), but that only worked for the ones that were really close to the edge of her nostril. I did discover last night that the bobby pin / hair clip thing works quite well though, I just used a small one ! Got everything out, didn't realise that one little baby could have so many boogers LOL

A good idea is turnin on the shower HOT and filling the room with steam and taking bubby in there for a while to get the snot running if nose is blocked... we also used/use KARVOL, just drops on his bed around the general head area (not too close when this young) but the fumes help keep nose clear. Alo might try dabbing some onto your clothes so when bubs is in your arms nose stays clear?? Hope this helps

We use the saline drops, they work really well for Cameron. If his nose is blocked I usually do it before a feed. He has tried to drink it though, and gets frustrated when I dont put them in his mouth.
$5 from the chemist.

Caitlin had a lot of mucus (and a lot of boogers!). MW gave us saline drops for her nose and she has been sneezing most of them out

hehehehe Hannah picks her nose now and then chases me round the house with it on her finger going "Eeeeeeeeeeew". It is so gross. But then she eats it after that which is so much worse.
Mind you, had a gross snot encounter the other day. Happened to look down at my black pants when I'd been at uni for a couple of hours and saw a giant big snot trail down one side on my pants!!!! Yuck! Had to pretend we have a snail infestation the rest of the day
