Both of my boys are wriggler thugs that kicked and squirmed when in bed, so co-sleeping hasn't been an option I was willing to undertake (Nick only gets to stay in bed because it's a king size - any closer and his wriggling snoring behaviour would get him put in another room!). I had a moses basket that was the same height as our bed that kept Andrew next to my head and pillow without being in the bed. He stayed in our room until he was about 6 months old and Nick moved him into his own room. It's been good to establish his bed as a sleeping place so haven't had any sleep issues with him at all.

I would put jack in our bed when he wouldn't sleep but now he won't sleep with us at all. You can get these things from kmart that are like a wee cagey thing so you don't roll on bubs.

My midwife told me not to have the baby in the middle of you both because dads might roll on them because they don't have a maternal instinct. We had Jack in the middle of us though cos i didn't want him to roll under the pillow. Also Jack had reflux so our sheets got covered in spew pretty quickly.

caitlyn snores and is a blanket stealer so she can bugger off to her own bed mwahaha...

she slept with me a couple of times and one morning i forgot she was there and flung out my hands and CRASH she fell on the floor....she was freaked out, but no overall damage.

second thoughts that explains A LOT ...(please dont call cyfs on me)

another time she was in my bed decided she was hungry and pulled up my top and started feeding herself...i woke up to her having a "booby feed" as she calls it now...it was sooo cute
