Andrew was jaundice as well and had to go back into hospital for phototherapy. I was a wreak when that happened I thought I was the worse mother in the world (he was 4 days old) for letting this happen to my baby. The nurses reasured me that it wasn't my fault and it happens quite often. Andrew did eat for a whole day which is the main reason he got jaundice.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
Sun on nipples can help them toughen up too but make sure they don't get burnt.
Express after morning feeds cos you have more milk in the morning. Watch out with expressing so early becuase bubs could go hungry or your boobs could get engorged. My midwife said wait til 3-4 weeks but i didn't wait that long.
