Does anyone have the points and stuff for the breast feeding plan of weight watchers? I want to follow it after I have had this one (i've done the normal points plan before) but can't really afford to go to the meetings to get the stuff until I am working again. Or does anyone go to the meetings and able to find out if the information booklets can be brought on their own?
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
Yeah you can buy the weight watchers "at home" kit which has all the points guides etc and is intended for those who don't want to do the meetings (like me).. It's still a couple of hundred bucks but you have all the guides including the fast food one..
I'm pretty sure BFing points is 32 a day. In healthy eating guidelines, it has how many serves of each food group we should be eating. For bfing mums they are:
* fruit 5 serves (non-bfers at least 2 serves)
* veges 7-8 serves (non-bf at least 5)
* Meat, poultry, fish and alternatives 2 serves (non-bf at least 1)
*cereal, bread and grains 6-8 serves (non-bf at least 5)
*dairy 2-3 serves (non-bf at least 2)
