Ok maybe I should have read your post properly Kelly. I just get a bit frustrated with people who think its just so wrong to breastfeed for a while. I just wish everyone had the same attitude to you. I thought you were saying "I think its gross so why am I the prudish one" not what you actually said.

I have no real plans to breastfeed for ages I'm just taking it one day at a time but I think as long as both mum and baby are happy its got to be good whether its breastfeeding for 5 years, 5 months or 5 days?

No rach , i think its one of the most selfless and beautiful acts a mother can do (if there able i mean) and if i saw a woman breastfeeding her child and they were older than five, or whatever, i wouldnt bat an eyelid, my friend fed her daughter til she was 3 and a half (then the girl decided she didnt want it anymore) and i never thought anything more of it .
I just personally couldnt do it myself cos i think id get tired of it thats all
