I had a very dark linea nigra line when I was preg with Isla, went from public bone, right up through belly button to mid bump. It took months to fade away after I had her too.
This time I dont have one at all, and I dont know the sex of this baby.
Has anyone had a linea nigra line with one sex, and not with the opposite sex?!

If it's any help I didn't have a linea nigra in either pg and I have 2 boys

I had a really faint one with dd, but nothing with this little guy :-)
Have you tried the ring test and the other old wives tales ?

well im having a boy and no lines or pigmentations of any kind... 1st preggy though so don't know if i would get one with a girl or not...

Was my first preg when I had a really dark obvious line, now nearly at end of second pregnacy and dont have one at all!

I had a dark one with Ollie and a lighter one with Lilia. In fact I remember starting a thread about this too cos I was wondering the same thing!

I've had one for a few weeks - but it's only really visible in certain light and even then it's quite faint! According to my 20wk scan I'm having a boy and he's my first, so I don't know if that helps you very much

Lol so I guess that having a line or not is absolutley no indication of sex of baby at all! Was good for a laugh anyway!

I got one quite early with my son. I thought i wasn't going to get one with my daughter but it showed up really late into my pregnancy and got darker.

I had a faint line up to my belly button with DD. It didn't really fade after she was born and was still there when I fell pregnant again. This time another girl, and the line got a bit darker and now goes right up to my boobs! My sister though has one of each and never got a line with either.
