remember (and this is tough), leukemia is not necessarily a death sentence. my aunt was diagnosed and given a year to live....then lived for another 10 years. (she was in her 70s when she passed away).

So sorry that really sucks, my dad recently told me he has lung cancer so I know exactly how you feel, not a easy thing to deal with at all.
