As you hold a pg test in your hand, there's always such a dilemna! It's when self-talk kicks in like crazy LOL. I went to get a test today - asked for a couple but the lady gave me only one, saying it was their last. So I get home and I busting to go to the loo.
May as well do it now, since I've got plenty of juice to use
But I'm only just due! If it's a BFN it's such a waste, and I'll be right back there next month But my temp went up yesterday
 ...and down a bit today
I'm not exactly having period cramps but I'm really sore in there, like someone's punched me. It's been like that since about Friday. If I was gonna have AF surely it would have arrived by now. There's only two things that cause soreness in there: pg or AF. And I don't have AF.
 I don't feel pg.
But I didn't feel pg with any of the others except when I was already 7-8 weeks pg with Kryssi before I tested.
 What if it's negative?
Then I'll be gutted that I've wasted another freaking test! And maybe a little relieved, I wasn't expecting to conceive on our first cycle trying!
 What if it's positive?
I'll be shocked and a bit freaked out, but definitely happy.
But if it's negative, everyone will just tell me I've tested too early!
No it's not too early, I'm 16 DPO!! Argh!!
 So, don't you wanna know???
 Okay so I caved in.
 And it's BFN.
 Bah! Another test wasted.

Oh no, your poor thing!! Those blasted BFN's! Not all is lost though surely? The one time I was pregnant I didn't get a BFP until about 6-7 weeks; even the Dr's one was really faint. Maybe you're just one of those ladies where it doens't show up early?    |

Haha Emme didn't I put that in my first thread? Hmm I dunno the answer to your question. My other two BFPs showed up on due date. Does it vary between pgs or between women?
I have only had one AF since Krystiana was born so my system may still be settling down.

ah well, not everyone on the board can be pregnant. maybe you should buy the tests when you dont need them so you have them ready and you dont feel like you are wasting money...??!!

yes all the time.  funny thing is I even pulled it out of the rubbish the next day jsut to be sure there was no line.  That is what happened with Mikey I did a test and I did not look hard enough so thought it was BFN then 3 day's later did another one and got a BFP.   Checked the first one and could see a faint line. |
