Easter egg hunt

Easter Egg Hunt (not just for Easter morning!)

This is a great twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt. You will need:

  • A packet of miniature foiled chocolate Easter eggs

Divide the eggs up according to the color of the wrapper (eg. a blue pile, a green pile etc). Give each child a different-coloured pile of easter eggs to hide around the house or garden. Then see who can find the most of each other's hidden eggs (your own colour doesn't count!). For older children, make the hiding places extra tricky, and write clues to help them! You could also make up a scavenger hunt, hiding a clue with each egg to point them to the next clue. Even better, get the kids to hide the eggs and then have the adults look for them, with the kids calling out "Hot!" and "Cold!" depending on how close or far away you are to the eggs' hiding places!
