Celebrating a second birthday with a silly goose soirée

Christchurch mum and owner of online store Honeybunch, Mahala Bailey, shares Delilah & Daisy's second birthday with us.
WHERE WAS THE LOCATION AND WHAT WAS THE THEME?
This was just a very relaxed morning tea and BBQ at home with our closest friends and family. We had some party food and a snack table set up and just let the toddlers and kids play while the adults caught up. I’ve always been drawn to geese themed things and have a lot of home décor and soft toys already. I’ve always called the kids 'silly goose' so this theme made perfect sense for the twins!
TELL US ABOUT THE PARTY...
It was very chill and the girls had fun, which is the most important thing. I love styling up little special spaces to take photos, so I had a lot of fun creating the party table with all the little bits and bobs I’d collected for the party. The girls well and truly lived up to the theme and were silly gooses running around the whole time and enjoying their special day.
TIPS FOR PLANNING A SECOND BIRTHDAY?
A strong theme is always fun and make sure it suits your child and/or their interests at the time. I always make sure I plan well ahead so that I can start collecting bits and pieces as I come across them, which means less stress and less up-front costs also.
