Quick and Easy Pasta
1 Cup pasta (spiral, shell etc)
Half finely chopped cooked chicken breast
1/4 cup of mixed vege's (corn, pea's and carrots)
1/4 cup of brocoli chopped
chopped silverbeet (add according to your babies taste)
Cook pasta, mixed veges, brocoli and silverbeet in a pot together, add cooked chicken and mix in cheese sauce. Add a little salt to taste.
Cheese sauce recipe:
Melt 2 Tbs of butter and then add 2 Tbs of flour. Mix to a paste, add a pinch of salt and cook, stirring for 30-60 seconds. Add 1 and 1/2 cups of milk, turn element up to high and keep stirring until the sauce thickens. Turn off the element and let it settle for five minutes before adding 1 cup of grated cheese.
Kids love this meal either at lunch time or at dinner time. This is a quick easy and healthy meal, adults will even love eating it.
