There is much division about what are “must-haves” for new parents-to-be and what is just good advertising. One thing we can all agree on is a stroller is absolutely on the “must-have” list, however knowing which one to choose can be as daunting as parenting itself! Kiwi business Edwards & Co is fast-becoming one of the most trusted and dependable stroller brands here in Aotearoa. Why you ask? We’ll get to that, but first, let’s take a stroll down memory lane…
 

EDWARDS & CO IS A FAMILY BUSINESS

The story starts with Pip & Warwick Edwards who imported the first tandem stroller into NZ back in the 80s. Warwick says the strollers were really basic and hard to fold but they satisfied the demand at the time. In more recent years he saw the stroller market going the other way - over-designed, over-priced and less practical. That’s when the idea for Edwards & Co was conceived, by their son Mark and husband Christian, in 2014.
 

THE BRIEF

The idea was simple – a high-end design look but at an affordable price. “No gimmicky features, our strollers are designed to make life easier, because we know parenting is hard enough,” says Mark. 

WORLD DOMINATION

Edwards & Co have recently expanded into the Australian market and have future plans to globalise the brand. Go boys, go!
