Brand new children's skincare brand Noody is much more than pretty packaging with their all natural, kindly made products for young sensitive skin.

Motivated to heal and nurture the sensitive skin of their own young children, husband and wife duo Ashleigh Scott and Scott Glacken have launched their very own skincare brand for littlies. These two know their stuff when it comes to skin, with Ashleigh being a holistic facialist and founder/director of The Facialist, and Scott being their creative and design director. The pair have joined forced once again to produce a product line for kids, with an aesthetic brand design both children and adults will love. Meet Noody...

Ashleigh, tell us about Noody and how it came about?

Both my children suffered from severe and chronic eczema since they were tiny babies. It affected their health, happiness, growth and overall wellbeing. I tried everything on the market for their skin, I found that either the products would work okay, but were aesthetically unappealing, or the packaging was beautiful but it would be detrimental to the skin. Having spent over 15 years in the skincare industry, I knew the types of ingredients and formulations that I wanted for their skin but I just couldn’t find them. We wanted to create a brand that was an epic product, aesthetically pleasing and appealing to the parents buying it as well as being fun, engaging and vibrant for the kids using it.

How are the products formulated and what ingredients do you use?

I have worked closely with the best cosmetic chemists to formulate these amazing products. We use incredible New Zealand native ingredients like kawakawa, mānuka honey, and mamaku along with prebiotics. We also use botanicals like calendula, camomile and amazing plant oils that help to soothe, heal and nourish the skin.

What's your favourite product in your range?

Calm Balm is my hero! This is what holds the true healing powers and transforms skin. I use it on my kids' eczema, and it's amazing on cuts, burns, abrasions – it will heal it all! It's a must-have for every mum's toolkit.
