Routine bliss

Sophia Pedersen is a little firecracker. She has a tiny dancer’s frame, and a smile a mile wide.
A former performer in professional musical theatre, she now has four children and a year-old business teaching performance art to kids. She’s big on routine and runs her household like a true “director”, a skill she says has come straight from her mother, Deborah.
“She taught me that getting up half an hour earlier to do something will make my life easier. So I get lunchboxes made the night before and I prep dinner in the morning. I rang her up the other day and said, ‘I’ve got pork mince here, what the heck am I going to do with it?’
“She said ‘leave it to me,’ And then texted me through a recipe!”
Deborah’s mantra is, “Make a decision and set yourself free.” For that, Deborah, you deserve a standing ovation!
