Energy balls
10 dates, soaked in boiling water for at least an hour with a dash of vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon
I cup whole nuts such as pecan, ground
I heaped tsp of good quality cocoa
Dessicated coconut
Add the cocoa to your nuts. Then add the strained dates. If you end up with a wet mix which isn't holding its shape then add more ground nuts or desiccated coconut.
Once you have a dough consistency shape into balls.
Roll in desiccated coconut or dip in melted chocolate.
