Our 3 year old twin boys were very excited to open and play with the Duplo fire engine set. The different elements (fire engine and tree) of the set were relatively straightforward to build for the boys, with a little bit of assistance from Dad. Being big fans of fire engines, they immediately enjoyed putting the fireman on the ladder of the fire engine. Probably the best feature of the fire engine was the battery operated siren and light system which sits on top of the vehicle. The boys loved playing with the siren and as a parent it was very tolerable due to its low volume and short running time. The scenario created with the cat in the tree allowed for some imaginative play, with the boys enjoying having the fireman rescue the cat from the tree using the ladder on the fire engine. After Dad showed them once, they repeated the storyline over and over and loved showing mum when she returned home. As with most DUPLO, the product was of high quality and durability and perfect for the rough and tumble play of our boys. Highly recommend!

My 2.5 year old son is going through a bit of an emergency vehicles phase, so absolutely loved the new Duplo Town Fire Truck set. We spoke about the scene and how the fireman was rescuing the cat, but he quickly moved on to creating new scenarios where the tree was driving the fire truck, or the boy was in the tree. He thought it was hilarious and enjoyed telling me about the silly situations he was creating. He has also loved putting little treasures into the drawers of the fire truck to be found later on. I was a bit unsure on how he would go with being able to connect the pieces as it was his first set of Duplo, but with a bit of focus and concentration he was great at it, though I’m not sure whether he enjoyed putting it together or smashing it apart more! I can see that this will continue to provide hours of entertainment, and I can’t wait to add to the set and encourage my little guys imagination more.

The fire truck set was a huge hit in our household. I love how LEGO duplo is built to last. It’s so durable and that’s important to me as a parent as I know they won’t break and become a hazard. It also means they are going to last the distance. We had a pre existing police set and my boys had a blast playing with both sets along side each other. It’s so fun to be able to see them with the sets and how their imagination takes over.

We were thrilled to receive the fire engine Duplo set. My four year old opened it straight away. We were a bit puzzled to find that it didn't have any instructions for putting it together so my daughter needed some help from her 6 year old sister to look at the picture on the box and figure out what pieces went where, that was good problem solving for her. They enjoyed very cute role play with the cat being stuck up the tree and then enjoyed adding other characters from their toys to play too. There's a cute little drawer in the truck and an awesome ladder, the highlight is definitely the siren sound it makes. My 1.5 year old also loved playing with it, she was able to push the truck along the floor and loves the little people it comes with. It is an incredibly sturdy product, was dropped (accidently) from the highchair onto our concrete tiled floor and the pieces didn't break. This is hugely important to me as I think durability is so important in a toddler toy. Definitely would recommend this toy!

The fire engine was a huge hit in our house, with mr almost 2, 5year old sister and 9year old brother alike, each had a different favourite moving part. Opening the draws, pretending to put things in, making the ladder go up and down, pushing the button to make the siren go. We enjoyed pretending to be firemen racing to save the cat out of the tree, making our own siren noises to go with it. Little man made the ladder pop out numerous times, “oh ohhh” but it hasn’t broken with him trying to force it back together. Would definitely recommend!

We were lucky enough to be chosen to review the Lego Duplo Fire Engine set. My son is 2.5 years old and he was very eager to get straight into it. He was able to follow the picture on the box to build the fire engine and the tree. He automatically placed the cat in the tree and began to tell me how the "fireman has to rescue the pussy cat". We were able to link the fire engine and fire fighter to his Poppa, who is a volunteer fireman. My son really enjoyed making up different scenarios, he is nearly 3 years old and imaginative play is becoming more regular for him. He also loved the flashing lights and sirens and told the cat stuck in the tree that "help was coming". The set is definitely well suited to rough toddler play, and when the fire engine somehow managed to crash and it came apart, it was easy to push back together and carry on play. We would really love to thank LEGO and Ohbaby! for the opportunity to review this product :)

The LEGO Duplo Firetruck immediately caught my almost three year old daughter’s interest as she identified the cat, the Firetruck and ‘person’ on the box. Upon unpacking, her first thought was to construct the Duplo as it had been arranged in the picture, and with this in mind we constructed it together. With Duplo being a perfect size for her to manipulate and robust enough for her to fit together, she managed to do much of this herself, and was helped by mum but under careful instruction! What we love about Duplo is how it slots in with the other Duplo sets we already have, enabling our child’s imaginative play; the cat was quickly replaced by other Duplo animals and people, who also soon required rescuing from the tree. We enjoyed making up stories about what all the characters were doing and creating different scenarios together. The flashing lights and siren sound add extra fun to this welcome addition to our Duplo set.

My two year old is completely obsessed with his new duplo fire engine set! Has not put it down since arriving - we even have a new favourite sound in ‘Weeooo weeooo’ Duplo is just perfect for this age group, no piece is too small as it goes in the mouth and my son has already put the fire engine in the dog bowl multiple times but the light and sound of the siren hasn’t been affected at all! Will absolutely be getting more duplo sets like this!

We received the fire engine set for review. My son was so excited to open it and play with it. I put it together which was fast and easy for an impatient child who just wanted to play with it. He loved the sound that it made from the siren and played with it for hours. It was made very sturdy with no small pieces on it for him to put in his mouth. My child loves to play with any toys that make noises and he copied the noise the fire engine made which is so amazing. He kept telling me how he was going to put out the fire and knew exactly what every little piece did on the truck. We loved the set and we will be looking at purchasing more in the near future

My two year old was very excited to receive the LEGO Duplo Fire Engine set. I was able to connect with him by first discussing the scenario on the box and also the different characters and their colours. Next it was time to build. My son’s three year old friend decided to build the tree. It was very easy for him to build by looking at the colours and copying the picture on the box. Of course, my two year old loved the flashing light with siren. He went for that first. So we built the fire engine together. It helped with his fine motor skills and problem solving abilities, especially when trying to fit the drawers into the cabinets! Once completed it was time to play. The boys loved reenacting the cat rescue scenario and dreamt up others of their own. The set is sturdy and robust. My son loves busting up Duplo and it was no different with this set. He thought the ladder made a great noise when pivoting it back and forth and the ladder withstood this. The truck gets thrown around every now and then and never breaks. Overall, this is a great little set. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to review it OHbaby! and LEGO DUPLO.

My 2year old son was very excited when we opened the fire truck for review, he loves trucks so this was a real treat. We opened all the packets and he was off, he loved the two men that came included and was very excited when the light on top of the fire truck made sounds and had lights! He needed a little bit of help from mum to put the body of the fire truck on but was able to put the blocks and ladder on by himself. It withstood his usually rough play of leaning on it to stand up and being stood on which was impressive. Once all the pieces were together we played with the fire truck and his other duplo, the tree did not stand well on the carpet itself but we have a big duplo board so it worked well on that. When all the other Duplo cars were lined up (he loves lining them up like they are in a carpark) he still kept going to the fire truck, I like how it is different to the other cars etc that we have with the body and it’s a bit bigger which he likes too. The siren and lights are definitely a hit and I can see this being played with for a long time. Thank you for the opportunity to play and review this product.

My 2 year old was so excited about the product, the box was fun enough for him. After we got the product out he found the lights that you can push so was having so much fun with just that whilst the fire truck was getting put together. We connected over the product by letting him know where to put each piece and what each piece for the fire engine is. The product is very sturdy and has definitely lived up to duplos high expectations. It helped with his imagination by having the lights. He was walking the little people up and the down the stairs and driving the truck around, all whilst giggling and being very happy.

My 2year, 3month old absolutely loved the police set. She loves Duplo and spends long stretches playing with the blocks building and creating many imaginative things. We love to share stories about what we build and I have found the language she uses through play is just amazing. She particularly loved the 'real' siren of the police car and had lots of fun playing cops and robbers. As anyone with a toddler can appreciate, the best part of building is destroying... it's fun to be a monster and jump on prison cells so the crook can escape right?! Luckily no child or Duplo was damaged in the fun! 5 stars for the fun we had and the ongoing engagement and imagination that Duplo inspires.

We were very lucky to have been chosen to review the police station duplo set! My 2.3year old son had previously played with duplo however not this set and he took to it straight away. I made it up as per the front picture and we played together, making up scenes and using my sons favourite- using the siren. It wasn’t long however before he was playing independently and using the fire station and train set, mixing them all together. It was wonderful seeing him play not only independently but using his imagination to come up with different stories. The set has been pulled out day after day, the police car has been in the bath and the pool and been chewed on by my 8month old and still going strong. This has been a wonderful addition to our toy box and would highly recommend!

We were so grateful to be picked to review the Duplo. My 2 and 4 year old boys both love playing with lego Duplo, and when they saw the Police Station set they were so excited and initially put it together as shown on the box. It was a particular hit in our household given some family members careers! My 4 year old in particular can sit for hours quietly playing with his Duplo. After initially building the set as shown on the box, he very quickly combined the police station with our other Duplo and created a much larger emergency services precinct, which included a number of fire engines and personnel. He took great pride in showing off two emergency vehicles with working lights and sirens. I love watching the way their imaginations work and the creations they come up with. Our existing Duplo is made up of sets that even I had as a child, which just goes to show how durable and sturdy this product really is.

My two year old was ecstatic to see the police lego set upon unboxing. She quickly asked about the car siren which lead to an oral Language exploration on police cars and the characters within the set. She took a very huge interest in the Robber character and why he was naughty, playing out a range of scenarios together and exploring right from wrong. Highly recommend adding this set to your Duplo collection, you won’t be disappointed

Before opening the box up my 2 year old and I talked about the picture on the outside, he was pretty quick to point out it was a police car, and that there were three Duplo people. After opening it we worked together to build the station. The duplo pieces are the perfect size for his toddler hands, while at the same time offering a challenge that is achievable for his development and also tough enough to handle some banging and roughness . Along the way we discussed the different colours and then was even a bit of counting as we built the station. Surprisingly the light and sound siren wasn’t his favourite part but the Barrier arm was something he was quite interested in and liked that he could move it up and down and did study this movement for a long time. It didn’t take long before some of the pieces were moved around and it became a castle and the Dulpo people were Mummy and Daddy pretending to eat the donuts and drink the coffee. I enjoyed how opened ended the Duplo set is and how my 2 year old decided the direction the play would take.

We were very lucky to be chosen as a review. My boy is 2 years plus 2 months old and he loves all kinds of cars, especially the ambulances and police cars. We started by building the police station shown on the box together. He can build most of the parts by himself. I just need to offer a little help for the difficult ones. Once it's put together, his imagination takes over though. He loves to have the bad guy commit a new crime and have the police chase him over and over. He's made up his own stories far beyond what the set's assembly outlines. This is a good set to teach the laws and what happens if a person commits a crime. He soon finds that he can build a slide using the red color roof top blocks. It always surprises me how wonderful his imagination could be. The cherry on top is definitely the siren lights and sound! They just bring the whole set to another level of fun! I think it’s hilarious there is a duplo toilet! My son keeps putting the bad guy on top saying 'he wants to go number 2', haha. We have the Duplo train sets as well, so he builds up the gate and uses that as a gate bar for the trains as well. I think this is why Duplo or Lego never disappoints. You can always find the connection between any two different set. Thank you OHbaby! and Duplo!

We love all our duplo sets and this one was no different. Both my 2.5 year old and my 6.5 year old loved it. Duplo is so withstanding with our rough boys play. We played with the set as per box picture and mr 2 year old loved the “naughty man” and putting him in the car with the siren on. The toilet was a big hit. We then added to it with our existing sets and made something totally different. I love how LEGO duplo is totally versatile and fosters imaginative play. At one stage I was making a farm for the police lady to visit as requested to build by my toddler. Big thumbs up from us!

We were sent the Duplo police station set to review. My 2.5 year old daughter loved playing with this set. We started by building the set together as per the box and playing with it like that for awhile with the police car picking up people and taking them to the station, locking them in the cell. The highlight pieces from the set were the siren with actual sound and the toilet (which everyone had to sit on and the barrier arm became a tap for everyone to wash their hands). The police station was then dismantled and the parts used to build a bridge for the car to go under. We then got out the rest of our duplo so we could build an even bigger bridge. We love duplo for being really sturdy (my 6month old loves to give it a chomp) and my daughter was using the barrier arm at one point as a hammer. Its also great how all the different sets combine together so there are endless possibilities for play.
